03 OPPORTUNITIES, OPTIMISM AND HOPE FOR THE CHILDREN OF NAMIBIA

The last week has been a memorable one for thirty campers of Children in the Wilderness Namibia who returned to camp for the second time. The children were selected from over one hundred applicants who previously completed one of the sixteen educational camps at the lodges of Wilderness Safari in Namibia. This older group of children was purposefully chosen to participate in this camp, which has been specifically focused on job opportunities and preparation for some of the challenges they face when they leave school.

CHILDREN IN THE WILDERNESS GOES TO PAFURI CAMP, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Mark Gillman's Teddy Bear Patrol 2005, in association with the South African Police, Children in the Wilderness, Wilderness Safaris and Mc Donald's SA, have just hosted a group of 30 underprivileged children from across South Africa. 5FM's "The Mark Gillman Show", broadcasted live from Pafuri Camp each morning.
